'What is Energy'? Energy is life-force, power. This vital force comes
from one Original Source*, and is found in every particle of matter, no matter
how small. Energy Healing is healing using the natural flow of energy
within all things. This ancient form of healing is natural, safe and very
powerful. The Healer does not exchange energy with anyone, but
rather acts as a channel for positive and loving healing energy to flow from
the Universe. This stimulates the person's own internal healing energies to
complete the healing process.
* This is simply another term for God, The Beloved, The Divine Presence, The Creator, etc. All refer to the exact same source.
Does one have to be ill to benefit from Energy Healing?
Energy Healing is beneficial to all. For those with serious conditions such
as AIDS and cancer, the results can be astounding and full recovery is always a
possibility when one elects to re-connect with their own internal healing
source. Energy Healing can help in this process.
For those with emotional or mental conditions such as anger, depression and anxiety, Energy Healing can help to calm and bring back a state of inner peace. For everyone, Energy Healing can revitalize, energize and increase the state of peace and joy within. Artists such as writers, actors/actresses, painters, etc. find that Energy Healing helps open creative channels. For athletes, it increases stamina and vitality.
A person need not be present as Energy Healing works by distance as well (energy is a force that binds all living things, regardless of distance or time). How is a typical session performed?
Energy Healing sessions vary by practitioner. A typical session may
follow this scenario:
A client
enters the healing room and lies down fully clothed on a massage table.
He or she is then made as comfortable as possible and the mood is set usually
with soft music, aromatherapy, etc. The Healer proceeds to very lightly
place their hands on specific parts of the person's body to stimulate energy
flow. The session usually ends after 45-60 minutes. Results vary
from person-to-person and most experience a sense of healing, revitalization
and inner peace. Many will start to detoxify after a session and plenty of
water should be taken in.

Is There a Difference Between Reiki and Seichim?
Although some feel Seichim is a more advanced system of healing, we do not.
Seichim does appear to be an older science, but both use the same exact source
of healing energy, as do all other energy healing methods. Seichim uses different
symbols and has more than Reiki, but uses similar healing methods. To argue
over which is better or worse is only a timewaster and a trap to keep one from
progressing as a healer. Which one is right for you? Whichever one you
are drawn towards. Many are drawn towards both!
An Attunement is like an 'energy initiation' passed from a Healing Instructor
to a student. An Attunement aids the new Healer in opening to new levels
of awareness and healing energies. It increases their vibrational
frequency and allows them to hold and pass more energy. Both Seichim and
Reiki students receive a series of Attunements while learning this healing art. There are two main ways to perform attunements;
