How is a typical session performed?
Energy Healing sessions vary by practitioner. A typical session may follow this
scenario:
A client
enters the healing room and lies down fully clothed on a massage table. He or
she is then made as comfortable as possible and the mood is set usually with
soft music, aromatherapy, etc. The Healer proceeds to very lightly place their
hands on specific parts of the person's body to stimulate energy flow. The
session usually ends after 45-60 minutes. Results vary from person-to-person
and most experience a sense of healing, revitalization and inner peace. Many
will start to detoxify after a session and plenty of water should be taken in.

A Healing Mind
We ask you to enter into the sessions with a
'healing mind,' one that is open and positive. We ask you not to be
skeptical, doubtful or fearful. These emotions are not positive and will
utterly undermine your attempts at gaining insight through your counseling
sessions. The mind is extremely powerful. In order to be
successful at anything, one must first believe success is possible. In the same
way, when you begin your counseling, you must truly believe you will
gain something positive from these sessions.
Self-sabotage is common, according to psychologists, because people get used to
living with negative patterns and fear change, even when change will ease the
pain. This is a common human pitfall and many enter into counseling and
other healing treatments without a sincere desire to get well. Why
would people want to hang on to their pain? For many reasons; but in
general, sometimes people gain benefits from the attention they get from
others, sometimes people fear the unknown so much, they feel it much safer to
wallow in misery than to seek joy. It must be noted that many times this
happens on an unconscious level and people are unaware of what they are doing.
