Reiki Healing Courses

Our greater mission is to promote worldwide healing. Our students are those who seek to learn healing arts in order to heal themselves and others. We offer courses and certificates in Reiki, an ancient Japanese form of energy healing and Seichim, an ancient Egyptian form of energy healing. We believe healing is intended to be simple, a skill imbedded in the subconscious mind, but not awakened in the majority of mankind. As animals instinctively know how to promote healing in their bodies, mankind also possesses this ability. Our teaching methods focus more on 'unlearning,' on developing the intuitive capacity, which is a skill necessary for healers to possess. Methods and modalities are only the tools used. A healer must know how to intuitively sense what is best for him/herself in addition to what is best for healing each individual. As the old proverb notes, "What is one man's medicine is another man's poison."

We further believe that healing is a process. This process involves learning, growing and changing. In this vast Universe, nothing is ever stagnant. We continue to grow even when our physical growth halts. True healing is an experience of connecting to the Divine Universal Presence that created all things and is within all things. Our courses focus on helping one develop the qualities of a healer by using the intuition, in addition to healing techniques. We seek to help you grow into the role of healer, not 'make' you one.

The first part of this course, Seichim I, taken alone will help to open the intuitive channels and put you in touch with your own inherent psychic abilities.

At Universal Temple of Healing, we are guided to teach those who are ready to learn, regardless of distance. Our healing courses are designed to help you learn and grow into the role of Reiki Healer. They aid one in learning the intuitive skills as well as the techniques of this science. It is apparent that healing has less to do with a healer's credentials and more to do with their Intention and level of consciousness.

This course is composed of a Comprehensive Manual and Online Audio Lectures & Meditations. Students read the manual, listen to the lectures and take a short online exam at the end of each level. There are 3 levels, the first focuses on self-healing, the second on healing others, and the third part on becoming a healing master. After each level you will receive an Attunement, which is an energy initiation, and Certificate. Upon completion of the third level, you will be certified as a Reiki Master. During the course you will schedule a one-on-one telephone session with the instructor where you will discuss your learning, progress and questions.

This course is created by a University Instructor and healer. She was Divinely inspired to write them. They are organized to take you step-by-step into the domain of energy healing. We believe in teaching 'what cannot be taught.' This means although one can easily learn the methods and techniques of becoming a healer, what makes a true Healer is the development of Love, Intuition and Inspiration. This healing is both a science and an art. There is no way of learning without experiencing, as a science can be learned, but an art requires practice. This course is designed for students who have completed all three levels and attained their Reiki Master certificate. If you are guided to go into teaching service and teach Seichim to others, this course is mandatory. Designed by a university instructor with more than 10 years teaching experience both traditionally and in online courses, it is based on personal experience, plus research in the scholarship of teaching and learning, as promoted by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. It covers the philosophy of teaching, pedagogy, passing attunements and the in-class course structure. It also details class formats for each level, how to conduct the class, how to deal with difficult students, and includes Powerpoint teaching presentations. Reiki Masters can register for this course 90 days after receiving their Reiki Master attunement.
